 Invitation to Yoga Nidra
April 11, 2021 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, MA
Join me for a special offering that combines intrinsic intention-setting with Yoga Nidra, a healing and transformational practice. A core essence of well-being, Yoga Nidra is a discipline of yoga that promotes conscious immersion in a state of serenity, which occurs a few moments before a person falls asleep. It is often referred to as “sleep with awareness”. Allow yourself to unplug, unwind, and be led in a guided meditation to a state in which your body is completely relaxed, and you become systematically and increasingly aware of your inner world. Combined with intention setting, the practice will allow you to delve deeply into the self, restore the body's resources, uncover hidden potential, and access incredible opportunities. We practice Yoga Nidra in Savasana posture, lying down on a yoga mat, covered with a blanket, and there is nothing to do but to notice, listen, and breathe.
